Ditching the weight and the bad habits

A thread for those who want to lose weight but who have got into bad habits along the way. I have 3 children and to have an "evening" have got into the bad habit of reaching for the wine bottle instead of the dumb bells. I used to do a lot of exercise but bow I don't have the energy. Will be using good old fitness paypal. Started yesterday but this morning weighed 13 st 4.5 lbs. aim is to calorie count for gradual weight loss to be kept off 4 ever, do more exercise and have more energy to keep up with my 3 young kids (all under 5). The aim will to have alcohol on no more than 2 evenings in the week (well that is my vice). Anyone like to come join?? Only those WKD at heart....

I made some small pancakes for the DCs today and I managed to eat a single one for my snack!

Wow this thread has got busy!! I'm doing ok finding it easy to stick to the eating its getting the motivation for exercise I'm trying to do my DVD everyday but can't get peace too. When the DC go back to school I'm going to combine the DVD with walking and swimming. Tonight I'm treating myself to a little Weight watchers pudding I'm really looking forward too it Grin.

Well i have had some beer and doritos on Friday as my weekend treat. Yesteday i had a good day. Was under my calories. Today i am just on my calories. I still havent found it too hard. I think if you punish yourself and dont treat you will more tempted. I havent weighed myself...will do on Saturday. I want to give myself a good bit of time to feel its really working. Otherwise i may think whats the point!!!

Could I join please? I've lost a lot on MFP before and then during pregnancy and breastfeeding I put nearly all of it back on Hmm this is only my 3rd day (yesterday was a badddd day!) and this morning I was 16st exactly (I'm 5'8!)

My goal is to get back to pre-pregnancy weight of 12st11 but my MINI aim is to get to 14st13 (because I remember the last time I got to this weight I celebrated because I hadn't seen the number 14 on the scale in years!)

Thought I had about 10lbs to lose to get to my mini goal until I weighed myself a few days ago and was horrified at 16st 3lbs Confused

I also have 3 young kids. Mine are 6, 3 and 11 months. I gained a bit more weight with each pregnancy and have never been this big in my life. Sad

I'm also doing MFP. Just started and it is an eye opener. I bought an exercise bike but it is still in the box Blush

I have a wedding that I'm attending at the end of Feb but none of my clothes fit me so I'd love to be a bit slimmer by then.

Hello, I'd like to join too please if I may! I've got about 50lb to lose. This is the year I am going to do it! Have used mfp in the past with success so going to use that and keep my cals down to around 1300 and combine it with walking (we have a dog so I will have company!) and spinning - husband has a spin bike and gym set up in the garage so really have no excuse. I'm 5ft 2 and my weight has somehow crept up to 13st 4lb!! I need to fix it.

I'm witchy1980 on mfp if anyone would like to add me :)

Can I join?! Have been eating first penguins, then drifter bar as 'snack' at work, then crisps lumchtime and cake recently.

No wonder after a few weeks I'm putting on weight. I walk to station (30 mins each day) but no other exercise.

Someone kick me!
