I have been using MFP for a week now. Sticking to between 950 ( busy day at work) and 1400 calories a day. I have totally cut out sugar from tea and coffee where I would usually have at least 8 spoons in a day. Stopped snacking on biscuits and chocolate all together and switched to fruit or raw veg instead. I could easily eat 1000+ calories just from biscuits with sugary tea and crisps/chocolate between lunch and dinner. Swapped two slices of white toast for breakfast for one whole meal. With x2 40 min cardio workouts (normally do no additional exercise at all)... I thought after 7 days I would see some tiny weight difference? I went from 9st 5lbs to 9st 4lb in a day then back up to 9st 5lbs since then. Am I expecting these changes to make differences too quickly??

I find that weight loss isn't instant or steady. It seems that nothing happens for ages, then a bit will come off, then nothing followed by a bigger drop, even when everything else has remained the same.
