I'm 12 stone and want to lose 2 - 2.5 stone. I've had success with slimming world in the past but my metabolism has definitely slowed right down (underactive thyroid)- SW just not working any more. I thought calorie counting would maybe work better - all the 'free food' in SW appeals to me as I am a greedy bastard but I don't think I can get away with it any more!
So, I put in my details to an online diet thing and it was suggesting I start at 900kcals a day and go down to 850??? Please tell me this sounds wrong - I was hoping for something along the lines of 1300??
