My 13 year old neighbour is having trouble with bullies at school. She just read a novel that really helped her and asked if I knew of any more. I'm stumped, but would really love to help if I can. The book she read was called Inside My Head. Are there any more books out there that could help?

As a teacher, I have used a book called "Bullies, bigmouths and so called friends" with a few kids. Can highly recommend it. Not sure of author's name, sorry!

No sorry,I haven't read any but they sounded interesting as they seem specifically for the bullying issue. Hope she finds something suitable...sounds like you are giving her support.

Run Zan Run by Catherine MacPhail - brilliant story, based on the experiences of her own daughter.

Jerry Spinelli has written a couple

Star Girl - not exactly bullying but about a girl who is ostrasized for being diffent

Crash - which is written from the bullies point of view
