What are the best schools and practices to prevent bullying and exclusion of our neurodivergent children?

Are you lucky enough to have a child who attends a great school with inclusive neurodiversity practices? What works? What does not? Please please share. Even if its tiny and rare, we can dial it up. Most councils are in debt & fail to meet SEND needs, but the medical costs and pain of not supporting those that need it, and loss of employment is far greater. Help me turn this around.

Background In 1991, I lost my brother to suicide, (aged 25, likely ASD, undiagnosed) - after years of him 'not fitting in our world' and our educational system. I now feel inspired - and called to action - by parents struggling with similar tragedies, (e.g. MatthewLockADHDCharity.com and Jaders_Magic, KellieBright #PostSend Survey), who campaign to prevent this happening to others. With 4 out of 6 of us in our immediate family being AuDHD diagnosed, 'it all makes sense'. Our son was never invited to parties & was bullied at school from age 8 to 18 - although we had no idea how bad this, until we realised his reluctance to ever come home due to the CPTSD caused, so we are moving away. We are so proud he has now become a special needs assistant himself in a special school to help others like him. But I challenge myself: are we doing the most we can to change the environment for them to succeed? Do you identify with this scenario? Please help if you can!
