My 6yr old has been bullied by the same boy since reception. Despite speaking to the teachers and informing them of what my son is coming home saying, it’s continued in varying forms in yr1 and now yr2.
he's quite sensitive and will get upset easily at the emotional or non physical bullying.
We have been trying to equip him
with emotional tools to help him with this problem, and I’d rather he stood up for himself than telling tales.
the above is for a bit if context.
so he’s come home today telling me that one of the teachers has today said to him “I’ve been hearing bad things about you, I’m keeping my eye on you”
He has no idea what he is supposed to have done, and it’s incensed me.
this school allows the bullies to continue, two children have been removed from the school by their parents as they were being bullied by this same family but the school failed to tackle the problem. But my child gets that said to him by a teacher with no explanation, I find that very strange.
Am I right? Is this normal?
I'm worried that he is repeating behaviour he’s seen/experienced and could turn into a bully himself.
