State primary yr 3: Reported several incidents of physical bullying to my DS from a child who needs more support that they are getting as far as I can see. I raised with school moment he told me and kept him at home until I was reassured. Head didn't record my verbal mention and absolutely no reply to my email on these separate quite serious incidents. Three kids pulled out of school this year by parents feeling like school not dealing with this particular child. Now really need reassuring by school.

I am polite and not 'that' parent always appreciate what. DS not got behavioural issues otherwise happy etc.

Am going to ask to meet school leadership to go over safeguarding concerns as above and in detail. Have kept a log with dates. Any advice on best way to approach this much appreciated.

PS: Looking into moving schools or course and of course would not let DS be in unsafe environment- but am in the process of deciding if it is or not and if I should report to Ofsted etc - maybe that does nothing! Hence this thread. TIA!!!

Follow the complaints process.

Ask what information they sought after each complaint and how they arrived at the decision they did.

Write your questions down and record the answers as much as you can, even clarifying the response.

If you are not happy with the outcome do not leave it but follow the next steps.

If parents do not take the next step in a timely manner or at all, the complaint is considered completed to everyone's satisfaction.

The other parents complaints are no part of your complaint sorry.
Pull out the bullying and behaviour policies too. Do they do what they say they will? Is the policy fit for purpose or vague? Are they following a flawed policy?
