Be aware that the NHS is replacing doctors (5 years Uni , 5 to 10 years post graduate specialist training ) with Physicians Associates / HCP/ ANP .
These people frequently do not identify themselves
They say "I'm a medic" trying to pass themselves off as a registered medical practitioner
PAs have 2 years training
PAs kill patients--you woman in N London died because a PA ignored her DVT and she died from a massive lung blood clot
PAs are arrogantthey believe they are as good as a registered medical practitioner only 2 years training

The UK population is sleep walking into a medical disaster.

FIGHT BACK
Every time you interact with the NHS ask who they are and exactly what their title/ position is.

Good luck
a registered medical practitioner who migrated to a better health service

I don’t know any nurse that wouldn’t introduce themselves as an ANP and certainly not represent themselves as a doctor. We get that enough from some HCAs introducing themselves as nurse 😒
