my daughter has started year 7 at Headington school and has unfortunately experienced some aggressive behaviour by a group of girls involving a confrontation that has left her very upset and traumatised. Unfortunately, it has left her unwilling to go back to school. I have spoken to some of her teachers and found the meeting a bit unhelpful with no clear way forward on how they are planning to tackle this issue or help my daughter settle in. Has anyone else experienced this as I'm a bit unsure in what to do? I have started looking around for alternative schools but wondered whether I should wait it out a bit. I'm a bit disappointed at the lack of communication from the leadership or the pastoral team.
