DS at Top Public School Bullied - How to handle

We chose one of the top rated public schools for DS, against an outstanding state school in our catchment. Initially, DS was regularly excited to go to school and have made some reasonable friends.

However, he was a victim of a few significant bullying incidents. It seems that a small number of children are not there for good.

We have good relations with school management and when we report incidents they do take actions. However, after a couple of weeks it returns to square one.

We are content with all other aspects of development. However, sometimes we tend to argue with ourselves that whether we have made the best decision.

I would greatly appreciate if any other parents have been in similar situations and would like to share their experience about turning the situation around.
