My DS at nursery has been singled out over the last 5 terms by a child who started at the same time as him.
Incidents started as pushing and shoving followed by biting and scratching and escalated to being hurt by this child with scissors.
I've been speaking regularly to the staff about my concerns, the latest incident had really frightened me.
DS doesn't ever retaliate-not his nature. He tells teachers but doesn't fight back and never has. They are very clear that my son has never provoked this behaviour nor has he had any issues with any one else. They are clear this child is "targeting" mine!
I like the nursery and the staff but now I'm concerned for his safeguarding.
The only issue I have ever had is this child hurting my son. Am worried he will end up seriously hurt.
Am writing a letter to the school but any experience of dealing with this within nursery setting would be appreciated. Thank you.
