School records

Hello. Does anyone know exactly what should be sent on to the next School if your child left due to being bullied? I thought it was legally meant to be sent on but I do know of a few Schools that don't and I'm not sure why they wouldn't pass on this information ... anyone?

If the child have a CP file we'd send a copy of that.
Other information would probably be given verbally (and probably before the child was given a place).
