Have removed my son (year7) out of secondary school due to bullying.
Have been in to school and spoke to pastoral head of house bully's dealt with then son called a grass and bullying has continued.
I had had enough do I removed him, the problem I now have is he is not in education and I am waiting for an appeal for a new secondary school but as it is in a different county I can't get an answer to what I can do next. As anybody had this experience and can reassure me that he will be educated and happy!

No advice but bumping for you.

I haven't any knowledge of the procedure for this, but bumping it for you (active convos moves really fast and it's easy to drop off it)

You've done the right thing. Nothing matters more than making sure your child is not being victimised. The 3 Rs can wait Grin that'll get sorted. He's out of the environment that must have been hell for him.

Is home educating in the short term at least, an option?

Not an expert. Is there an education welfare officer you can call at the new county?

New county tell me to speak to county I am in, county I am in tell me to speak to new county! Nobody knows what they are doing, son is at home with me until it can be sorted out. Thanks for replying Smile
