DD Y5 has had problems with one girl in her class for over a year now. Over time she seem to have gained a lot of power over the other girl in dd year group. So far dd has dealt with it very well keeping out of their way and doing her own thing.
Things had calmed down but then out the blue topgirl told dd 'you can't play with my friends as I don't like you', dd was playing in a group at the time. So took herself away as did one of the other girls. Topdog walks up to dd pushs/hits dd and says 'I told you not to play with my friends'.
The real problem is dd friends seem to like this girl and play but her rules to the point they will go a long with things to stop them been teased by the rest of the group. It's really sad as most of dd friends are the nice girls who seem to have really changed in order to conform to the norm but still really nice if topdogs not around.
