Periods after EBF - help

LO is 10.5 months old and has been EBF until about 9 months. We then introduced the odd bottle of formula here and there but no more the 4 a week. A fortnight ago he started nursery and I went back to work. Coupled with the fact he’s upped his solids (didn’t go much on weaning to begin with) I was worried my supply would drop a little.
Today Ive started my first period post partum. Does this mean my supply will dry up? I’ll admit I was a little neglectful with pumping but honestly though my supply was robust enough by now. He does still feed in the night too. I know it will drop but was really hoping to get to at least one year

Mine never.

It shouldn’t dry up but it might dip with the introduction of formula. Do you express at all?

Why would it dry up? It might temporarily drop a little but you just feed as normal, a bit more if you want and rights itself in a couple of days. Nothing to be concerned about in my experience, your body knows what its doing. I wouldn't be panicking and introducing more formula or anything as that could impact supply. If you research it there's nothing to worry about

Why would it dry up? It'll just adjust to the amount you're breastfeeding now.

Your period coming back doesn't mean anything. Mine came back around 8/9 months pp and I'm still bfing at 15 months. Although trying to stop soon!
