Momcozy S12 Pro - when to sterilise

Hello all,

Just gave birth to a healthy baby boy, and I need to express. After using a hand pump for a bit, I've just gotten the Mumcozy S12 Pro.

I wonder when and how to sterilise.

(1) In the manual for the S12 Pro, it's not clear whether the pump should be sterilised after every use (i.e., a few times a day), or only once per day. What do you all do?

(2) On your website https://uk.momcozy.com/blogs/babycare/how-to-sterilise-breast-pump-parts, it suggests that the plastic/silicone parts can be sterilised using a microwave-based sterilising tool (i.e., one of those water/steam arrangements, like the Tommy Tipee one). However, the user manual only recommends boiling only....

Any thoughts on this? Thank you all so much!

Sleepy mum

Hi, I sterilise once a day roughly. Keep the parts in the fridge between pumps. I use cold water steriliser and that’s worked fine on my parts!
