What do I need for feeding with expressed milk

Hello,

Looking for some advice on everything I would need to buy for feeding with expressed milk. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and hoping to do mixed feeding, so that my partner has the opportunity to share the feeding (we realise this might be challenging though!).

Does anyone have any advice on the full list of what I would need to buy to express, store milk, feed, sterilise bottles etc. as I'm bit confused by the different options. Thanks!

Breast pump, bags to go on pump, freezer, bottles, teats for bottles, steriliser for bottles, (microwave or cold water) rack to go in dishwasher.

Electric double breast pump. A pumping bra (which can just be a crop top or soft bra with holes cut for the pump flanges). Something for storing the milk... bottles or bags. You may need additional sizes of flanges but probably won't know till you try. Then bottle teats for feeding and a way to wash and sterilise everything. We used a soft bottle brush, gentle dishwashing liquid and a steam steriliser. We also found it handy to have a large Tupperware to store the pump bits in the fridge as they don't need to be stabilised every time you use it. Finally, if you pump a lot, a small cool bag with ice packs for pumping out and about.... probably not necessary for mixed feeding though.
