Has anyone used thie lumina breast pump and have any reviews please?

Im pregnant with my second and planning to BF and pump some in order for others to help with feeding too. I FF'd my first so all new to me!

I also considered the Elvie but was put off by very mixed reviews and looked at momcozy as well.

AVOID - Lumina are the worst company to deal with! Needed breast pumps asap, their delivery lead times are not stated at point of order, so when I found out they need to be shipped from the states to UK, which would take 2-3 weeks, I tried cancelling straight away, within hours of ordering. No way to do this easily so had to email, they didn’t not pick up email in time so order shipped!

They said they would refund me after I received it and arrange delivery back to China, I did all this - they have said it did not ship to right address so they couldn’t refund me, but I have proof it did, they have now been ‘looking into this’ for a week.

I placed the order mid June, it’s now been 2
months!! And I don’t have a refund or the product, plus I paid for the delivery to China!

They couldn’t make it anymore difficult or pain staking if they tried !!

Very frustrating to say the least and out of pocket of about £80!

Being a new mum I can’t afford for that money to be tied up

i would avoid, I ended ip purchasing a ‘Kissbobo’ pump from Amazon which was next day delivery and they are really good!

Hey there,
I wanted to share my experience with the Lumina Breast Pump in case it could help you out. I'm in the same boat – pregnant with my second and diving headfirst into breastfeeding and pumping after formula-feeding my first. So, trust me, I get the new territory feeling.
After a bunch of research and contemplation (the Elvie and Momcozy were on my radar too), I ended up going with the Lumina. Let me tell you, I'm genuinely glad I did.
First off, comfort was a huge concern for me. The Lumina surprised me with how gentle and natural it felt. There was none of that "oh-my-goodness-is-this-thing-trying-to-take-me-down" sensation I'd heard about with other pumps. It was more like, "Hey, we're in this together."
You know how some pumps are like your new needy BFFs, always demanding attention? The Lumina wasn't like that. It's got this cool, low-key vibe – quiet and sleek, which is pretty clutch for those moments when you're trying to pump without turning it into a production.
Now, let's talk about flexibility. I wanted to be able to pump at work, at home, and even in my own version of "me time." Lumina's got that portability thing down pat. Plus, its battery life? Seriously impressive. I can go ages between charges, which is a major relief.
I'd say Lumina's a solid choice. If my experience is any indicator, you might just find your perfect pumping buddy.
Wishing you all the best on your upcoming arrival and this incredible journey into motherhood.

Just to give you all an updated, I managed to claim back the cost of the pumps through my bank, however the reimbursement for the courier charge for sending it back to China could not be reimbursed. Lumina are
still saying they will refund this and it has been escalated! Lol same story different day

I’m basically out of pocket £21 now for no reason what’s so ever! Because Lumina are such an unprofessional company it basically
cons new mums! They don’t even care and not ashamed of it ! Terrible

I had a very similar situation, I was astonished that they asked of a video of the pump in action 😮 obviously nobody is going to send a video of their breast out. They have been ignoring me since I sent the video of the pump in. On the website it says reply within 12 hours and 30 day money back guarantee....this is absolute lies.STRESSFULL

Nothing was working so my last option was paypal as i paid through that. And finally i got full refund. Whereas lumina only said 30% return and did not event do that.

I’ve also been scammed by Lumina. When the pump arrived it was a knock off with no branding as per the website. I sent it back unused (to China!) for a refund which they said was being processed but I’ve still not received it. Down over £100 overall at this point and they’ve stopped replying to my emails. Avoid!!

Claim it back from you bank they will pay out for you - it’s terrible how they can do this to new mums who have enough to deal with!
