How much milk is a good amount to make per sitting?

Hi, I am currently expressing milk for my week old son. I wondered how much roughly I should be making, he’s quite the guzzler anyway but I make between 7-9oz per sitting (that’s between both of them). My fridge currently resembles a breast milk donation bank 😅

There is no "good amount" especially as you have an over supply! Continue as you are if you'd like, it's not causing stress or anything but don't worry if you think it's not enough!

I used to get 100ml per boob.

I got nothing pumping, a teaspoon in half an hour? Didn’t bother, was fine just feeding directly. Are you exclusively pumping? Be careful you don’t cause an oversupply pumping so much so early, it can lead to mastitis.

Thank you for your responses! I am exclusively pumping, I’ve never been able to grasp the breast feeding, the latch was always wrong and hurt!
