Increasing milk supply

I know this isn't specifically breast pump related, but thought it was the closest topic!

I breastfed my baby until about 8 weeks old, combi feeding from 3 days old due to being in hospital and worried baby wasn't getting enough milk, so topped up with formula or expressed milk to make sure she got enough food. I didn't want to stop, but it has slowly been more and more formula and then all formula. I've been trying to get my supply back up for the last 4 weeks, however hit a bump when my baby was back in hospital with an infection, so starting over again the last week. I'm getting a but disheartened that I'm getting barely anything when I pump, it used to be a drop or 2, now its a few drops but nit much at all. I'm pumping every 2/3 hours, but as my baby is still a little unwell I'm not always on time. I'm trying Galactogil as well.

Has anyone successfully increased their supply by doing this and how long did it take? I'm prepared to keep doing this, if it is going to work. I spoke with a lactation consultant who made this plan for me, but she didn't really give me a time frame. I'm also offering the breast at every opportunity but she gets so fussy, and as she has been unwell I don't want to stress her out too much. She did actually want breast more in hospital, but I think it was more for comfort and using me as a dummy, but I was happy to get the stimulation for my supply.

I'm going to ask my doctor about Domperidone/Motilium as I've read this increases milk supply, has anyone ever used this? Does it help increase only if you're in them? Or can I use to increase and pump the same as I am and then stop over time without decreasing my supply again?

Any help and advice would be appreciated!
