Hello,

I currently have a Tommee Tippee Manual Breast Pump, however recently it doesn't seem to be as effective as it used to be. I can barely get out a couple of oz's! Is this something that's common with them?
I wasn't sure whehter it was just timing, as recently my baby has dropped a few feeds as shes now 10 months. But surely I should still be able to get enough milk out?
Is it worth investing in another pump? If yes what do you recommend?

Thanks for your help!

I used to have the tonnes tippee manual breast pump and couldn't get on with it. Gave me hand ache and took ages to just get an ounce. I now have the avent electric breast pump. Briliant and you can set the pattern and it will continue it, however I only seem to be able to get anything worth pumping for in the morning. I can get about 4 ounces first thing but if I try throughout the day, would be Lucky to get one. I think you produce most milk in the night? I have also heard 'fenugreek' increases milk supply. Hope this helps...p.s. My baby is only 12 weeks and exclusively breast fed. Might be different with an older baby xx
