Confused on best breast pump and sterlizer unit

Hello!
I was wondering if someone could advise me on which is the best breast pump to use,also I am abit confused as to whether the sterlizer unit and the breast pump have to be the same brand and compatible with each other. Please help me out.

In my experience the Medela swing is the best pump.

I use a bog standard Tommee Tippee cold water steriliser but my friend swears by the new steam philips avent one.

It matters not a jot if they are the same brand.

You could also ask your midwife or health visitor, or contact your local NCT who may be able to hire you out a pump.

this may be too belated to be of help - I have an Ameda Lactaline double pump and its been great.
I researched on amazon.
Depends a lot on how much you will be using it.
I use it daily - but actually havent double pumped that much - so Medela swing is probably also good - have friends that have used that one.
Lansinoh bags best I found if you need to freeze / store milk.
Agree with Munkiii - makes no odds how you sterilise.
