Nursing dress suitable for a wedding?

I have a wedding to go to a week and a half after DC2 is due - it's for very good friends and is walking distance from home, so I have every intention of going, unless D-day is pretty much on the same day!

I have been trawling the internet for suitable dresses, and have only seen two dresses I like - both of which are out of stock.

Just to give you an idea of what I like, it's this one and another one from JoJo which is no longer on the site - basically something that covers the upper arms, and goes to below the knee, since my legs are awful.

Has anyone seen anything similar?

TIA x

You could also try www.appleblossomclothing.com. They have some lovely things as well.

Good luck!

I went to a wedding when my 2nd DS was 5 weeks. Wrap dresses are defintely the way to go like you've got pictured.
I did not wear a specific Breastfeeding wrap dress just a highstreet one. Wore a pashmina too which helped to cover my huge norks when latching on!

I hope you find something

I took the straps off a dress and re attached them with a safety pin (classy!), I then had a scarf and draped that over me in a quiet corner, dropped the strap and bingo!
(on reflection, I could have just slipped it off my shoulder but I love making life complicated!).

Go for a maxi dress that is forgiving around the tummy, that was a bigger concern for me.

Moosemama and cairnterrier - thanks so much for those suggestions - there are some I haven't seen in my searches.

Good suggestion mum2JRC - if it comes down to it, a regular wrap dress may be just the thing!

I hadn't thought about cutting a strap off, Coldcuppa! Although I'm loathe to wear anything which exposes my upper arms anyway.

Thanks so much all.

i'm going to a wedding next week with 3 week old DD and i've got a maxi dress with a cross over neckline so it's easy to feed, as well as this lightweight cardigan in white to hide my bingo wings/cover up DD while feeding. Maxi dresses and floaty cardis are definitely the way forward for hiding baby flab!
