When is it too late to fix a problem with latch?

DD is 3 months old. I have really sore nipples again after several weeks of being fine. Could it be the latch? (it looks ok to me) Is she too old to change a bad latch? Thanks.

It's never too late to fix a latch - do you have good local breastfeeding support?

DS2's latch is not always great, but I watch very carefully each time he goes on to make sure his mouth is as far open as possible etc. Nipples not sore though, just turn a bit white if he doesn't latch on well. He is same age.
