8 week old vomiting lots reassurance needed

hi my 8 week old dd has been being sick after every feed since 2.30 this morning, she is bf and its lots of sick like something out of the exocist. i have an appointment with the doc at 3 but am very worried.

has anyone else experienced this and what would doc do.

He will feel her tummy for a bowel obstruction. If not rigid and she is responding well and not seeming in pain, he'll probably say its a tummy bug and keep bf for all your worth. Watch for dehydration. You may even get that vile stuff dioralyte!!

Hi saw the doc and she felt her tummy no obstructions so is a tummy bug.
She seems to be much better today no sickness as yet but coming out the other end, poor DD i realy hope she gets better soon.

Dont worry, she will. diarrhoea can drag on 5-7 days, but will get less as the days go on. Lots of bf ing and make sure responding well and good number of wet nappies.

Lots of tummy bugs going round at the moment. My 6 month old has just had it. It was about 3 days in total (1 sick and 2 the other end).
