This is a huge deal for me since I have been unsuccessful not once, but twice with BF my older DC's.
Yesterday DS2 turned 1 and we are still BF. It has been a huge uphill experience for the first 5months (mastitis, tongue tie, cluster feeding etc etc) and I was elated to make it to 6months (never gone past 4 1/2m). But then it got sooo much easier, that we just carried on. 6 months later we hit 12months.
I just want to give hope to those who, like me, have found BF difficult, and say "yes you can do it!"
Funnily enough, I think this time round I may have problems weaning but I'd rather not think about that right now.
