my baby girl is 5 months old this week, currently she takes 9 ounces every 4 hours but is drinking the bottle dry!

should I put her up another ounce? Sorry first time mum, 10 ounces every 4 hours seems like a lot to me!

any advice appreciated .x (she was 10 pound 7oncs @ last weight check)

My MW, I do trust her, says they take 1/7th of their weight in milk after 6 Kg. Oups your DD is much smaller that that.
Mine is 5 months and used to take 5 or 6 times 5 oz/ day, but she is massive and I have started weaning so a bit less now. Also she does seems to be drinking less than an averaged 5 months old.
If your DD doesn't cry when the bottle is finished, stay with 9 oz, increased when she starts yelling at the end of the bottle.

my DD id FF, she doesnt scream when the bottle is finished so will only increase wen she seems unhappy.

thanks everyone .x.
