Advice about bf over 1 year

Hi just wanted a little advice. Lo is now 1 - offered milk in a cup and lo spat the milk out and didn't like it.

I have continued to bf and find that the lo still wants to have my milk in the morning first thing, lunchtime for nap and evening and sometimes in the night as teething badly.

Today I gave multivitamins and cod liver oil from Boots - small dose.

Should I try offering cows milk in a different beaker for lo or just continue to use plenty of milk in cooking and cereal and just carry on bfeeding for as long as baby needs me.

I came of vitamin tablets myself about a fortnight ago. Was taking pregnacare all the way through pregnancy and feeding. Should I carry on taking a vitamin myself still ??

Am I doing this correctly ???

Do you want to stop bf? If not, then just carry on feeding, no need to change to cow's milk just because she's turned 1.

No need for either of you to take vitamins if you're eating a good diet.

Agree with greensnail - no need at all for supplements. I fed dd til 4yo and am still feeding 20 month old ds, and have never given a vitamin tablet in their lives!

If you are happy to continue breastfeeding then do so.
