We've got the hang now of feeding and expressing but i do need to go back to work/uni when he's 4 months old and was wondering if the electric pump had any major advantages that would justify £90 ?
TIA

An Ameda Lactaline is well worth 90 quid, especially if you will be expressing a lot for work. I went back when DS was 4.5 months old, and expressed for a year at work with mine - then sold it, recouping a lot of the money I had spent buying it on ebay in the first place.

Double pumping is a lot faster and a lot more efficient that manual, single pumping

I use an electric pump at home to build up a 'milk' bank and then i plan to take my spectra pump (much cheaper and works well see anawiz) to work. I have the double pump and plan to buy two more bottles + bits to allow two double pumping sessions a day. I go back in a few weeks when DD is 19 weeks
