Don't know if this has already been done, but this was published in the DM in response the the Mother and Baby editorial.

A pretty good article I think, although not sure about the woman at the end banging on about how sexy her figure was while breastfeeding - kind of misses the point.

I think she generally downplays the health benefits of bfing in the Guardian article, but honestly, I started bfing because of the healthy thing, but really only planned to go to 6 weeks based on that, I fed till 2 in the end and it was the ease of it and convienence that was so good - I think we need to be better at helping women bfeed because it is such a useful and empowering thing to be able to do. I agreed with her totally on the real reasons to breastfeed, it isn't really about a fear of ear infection is it? We need to take a really hard look at attitudes to body image, motherhood and sexuality, because it is unhealthy and damaging to young women in this country imo. The whole cult of Jordan thing, very scary.

Maybe Mother and Baby magazine should be controversial more often, if it prompts even the Daily Hell to print a sensible article in response.
