Breast milk and eczema

just wanted to share! Ds 19mo was getting really distressed with a flare up of eczema on the inside of both the bendy bits of his arm and we tried cream and cool water and then I put some breast milk on and he stopped itching and today it is gone!!

Thought it must be cooincidental but found a site today which suggests doing this!

How cool!

Wow! Amazing. And glad DS eczema has cleared up, must be horrid in the hot weather.

I had DS1 in Germany and they recommended breastmilk for his eczema and for gunky eyes and just about anything else you can think of. I was using nipple shields at the time so it was easy just to tip any remainders where I needed it, but by DC3 I was happy just to give a squirt - funny
