7 month old suddenly refusing breast milk and does not drink water, help please!

Hi ,as title says really. My 7 month old DD is refusing to take any breast milk (gone from 4 feeds a day to none yesterday) and is not keen on water in a tommee tippy/doidy/cup etc.
Am worried that she may get dehydrated in this hot weather. It took her 3 hrs to go to sleep last night and am sure that it wasn't just the heat, but thirst also.
(Daughter no 2, first child BF until 13months and was also not keen on cups/bottles, think I have done something wrong you know)!!!
Any ideas please guys? Ta x

Read up on nursing strikes (kellymom is good). Very common.

As for water have you tried a straw - my kids have always loved straws even at that age - it is messy though. Or an open cup, or a water bottle (like an evian one) - they like just becuase I use one. Also sitting in the bath with a lot of containers gets a lot of water drunk here!

Oh, and they can get a lot of water from food. And ice lollies are another good way.

what Lionstar says!

Thanks guys, am persisting with the doidy and managed to get her to latch on for a bit after her morning nap today, hooray!
Went to kelliemom ta and it sounded like a strike maybe due to me screaming when she bit me a couple of days ago as well as possible teething. Whoops! Xx

thats what i was going to say...teething...
her gums may be VERY sensative. try a cup. or a syringe...with juice, or milk or whatever.
ice lollies (make your own or just freeze water if u r worried about sugar) will help if she is teething.
maybe in the heat she just dosen't feel like 'eating' either, mine go off thier food and drink when they get really hot.
good luck. watch her and listen to your instincts tho. little ones can deterioate very quickly. xox
