My SIL sent me this lady's book from Australia. Apparently she's quite popular there. I did a bit of research and found this recent TV interview - unbelievable! I hope she doesn't have hopes on cracking the UK market - though maybe she does as she was doing the interview in Ireland.

The link goes through to another popular parent forum where the actual video is linked in the first post - I hope MN don't mind!

Yes gaining weight well and very wet nappies all day long cant beleive how many she is going through is costing me a fortune .
It is worrying when people say this sort of thing there must have been so many mums who worried over it.

ray81 first of all - just wanted to say congratulations on the birth of your baby. I was on a couple of ttc threads with you and I know you suffered losses. I'm so glad you finally got your baby . And No - its not dangerous to demand feed a baby at 8 weeks. Enjoy the 7 hours

I was rather alarmed at the mention of a good review of her book, but then quickly realised that you didn't mean favourable review, but honest/sensible review. Phew!

Oh my bloody God - "demand feeding can be dangerous"

My jaw is literally on the floor and my brain is enraged
