Baby refusing bottle!

Hi all,
I am new to mumsnet and a first time Mum to a 10 week old boy. He has been breastfed from day 1 but because my milk came in late he was readmitted to hospital at 1 week with dehydration having lost 15% of his birth weight. I was advised to top up with formula. He was fine being dual fed for 8 weeks but I decided to cut down on the formula top ups because he seemed satisfied with breastfeeding, however now at 10 weeks he is refusing all bottles, even with expressed breastmilk. How can I get him to take the bottle again so that I can have an afternoon out and my husband can feed him?
Thank you, any advice appreciated.

Don't worry too much. DS went through phases of being happy with a bottle and phases of not. Chances are when you aren't there and someone else tries to give him a bottle he will take it if he is hungry. Is there a particular date/length of time you want to be away?

PS well done with the breastfeeding!

Thank you for your reply, I'd like to go out for a whole day. I went to a baby first aid course and was away for only 4 hours and my husband really struggled to feed him even though he appeared to be hungry. It could have just been my husband who is still very nervous (being a first time Dad). Maybe I should get my Mum to try? I'm relieved though that your baby went through phases of taking and not taking a bottle, maybe we will too? I was planning to breastfeed for at least 6 months and although difficult at first I am pleased we seem to have mastered it!
