So will I 'dry up' or will it be ok?!

I've got a 7 month old DS who has been exclusively demand fed up until I started weaning him 2 months ago. He still never has a bottle so all his milk is from me and I'm happy to continue this until when I go back to work 2 days a week when he's 10 months. The problem is, I've foolishly agreed to do 3 days in work when he's 8 months as a one off. I'm fine with him getting enough milk as I've posted about that before and been reassured that if he has dairy plus a feed am and pm it'll be ok. But will my supply keep up? Will I be able to go back to 3-4 feeds easily after that? Or is it all one big slippery slope?!

Thanks!

I know several women who work part time and only feed through the day when they're at home. They've not had any issues.

I am currently feeding a 8mo old when at home (4 days a wk) and only morning and night when at work (3 days). Supply is fine, although I'm a bit "full" by the end of a work day! HTH

I am doing 3 days at work as a one off when he is 3 months old so still EBF. Definately not stopping then.

I am expressing a little each morning so my mum will have enough to fed him when I'm there and I'm going to express once or twice. If you are used to feeding during the day you might get a bit full and uncomfortable, similarly you might be ok. Take a breast pump with just in case???

Thanks for all your reassurance. That's great. Yes- good plan about the breast pump. I'll definately do that as I feel a bit uncomfortable even if he goes longer than usual!
