what can I take for a cold when BF?

I am taking paracetamol but they are just not hitting the spot!

My nose is streaming and my head is really stuffy...everything says consult your GP if BF, but I was wondering if anyone on here knows if there is anything that is OK to take...

You can do menthol inhalations - ask the pharmacist for some menthol crystals, put a small amount into a bowl of very hot water, towel over your head and breathe the steam.

Hot water with honey and lemon is nice too.

You can do inhalations with Olbas oil & its relatives, I used Vicks Vaporub as well.
