Hi all,
My DS will be 8 months in a week, and a week after that we are going camping. We've decided to leave DS with granny on the first night then will pick him up and take him to the site for the second night. I've had from 7 till 9am off before a couple of times, but we probably won't go and get him till midday so it'll be significantly longer than before.
At the moment he is bf, has one ff at bedtime, and has started solids but we're BLW so it's hard to know how much solid food is going in! I've never really had a feeding schedule so couldn't really say how often he feeds during the day though I try and give him some every two hours if possible. In the evening he has his last bf at about 5-6ish. Over the last few weeks his sleeping has improved so some nights he is sleeping through, though usually there'll be one feed before 7am, anywhere from 12.30-5am.

Sooooo, I'll be missing - 1 middle-of-night feed, 7-8am brekkie feed, and 9.30-10 before a nap feed.

I gave up expressing recently and would love not to have to think about this when we are away that night.

Do I need to worry about my supply? It's only one night, and we;re 8 months in, but I'm still paranoid.

Advice please..... x

Honestly I think you will be ok at this stage re your supply

You may need to hand express so your boobs don't feel too full and to prevent a blocked duct which can happen quite quickly

Hi lovely74 my DD is 8mths now and I left her for 36 hours last weekend. First time I had missed feeds since she was born. She was totally fine, but I did become a bit sore and had to express to let down the pressure. So you might have to take a pump if you cant hand express just in case.

There have been no problem since I came back.

Hope you all have a lovely time. Camping sounds fab!
