Help! How to get them to nap during growth spurts?

Not sure whether this went in sleep or feeding tbh. Have a 7 week old baby that is breastfed and I think must be going through a (slightly late?) growth spurt. He has been on and off my breast all day - leaving no time to nap - so he hasn't slept for hours. He's obviously over tired but I can't get him to sleep - he's convinced he's hungry and if I put him to my breast he will eat enthusiastically so he's not just confused. He then acts sleepy for about 10 - 15 min (without successfully sleeping if you get me) and then demands more food again. Surely this can't work and what do I do if it carries on into this evening/night?

go with it, get a good book a large bootle of water and sit on couch and feed. this too will pass and tomorrow will be different. it is warm today so maybe needs to up his fluid intake. also he doesn't know it is a bit late to have a growth spurt.

Oh I am (isn't wireless internet wonderful), and for a day or so I will be fine - it was him needing sleep as well as food I am worried about - Normally he naps a lot in the daytime - about 4/5 hours by now and that's not counting the fact he woke up earlier than normal too.
