DS was never sicky as a newborn, but once he got to around 3.5 / 4 months he started to bring up a 'sicky' burp after most feeds. I know babies bringing up some sick after feeds is normal, so I've not paid it much attention.

In the last few weeks, however, he has been bringing up more sick, between feeds as well as immediately after them. He brings up 'curdled' milk rather than just milk IYSWIM. It isn't huge quantities - definitely not a whole feed. I'm not worried about his weight - now 98th centile, up from 50th at birth.

He produces plenty of wet & dirty nappies and appears generally cheerful, despite being in the process of cutting his first tooth. He doesn't seem to be uncomfortable on his back, so I don't think that reflux is an issue.

In theory I feed on demand but I'm not very good at recognising when he's hungry, so I just feed him every time he wakes up and any other time he seems to be upset. I always offer both breasts and let him feed for as long as he wants.

I'd be interested to know:
(a) is it likely to continue and
(b) what is likely to happen once he starts on solids? Might he sick up some of his solid food too?
(I'm hoping to start BLW when he gets to 6 months.)

Ah, I see from Kellymom that bringing up more sick can be linked with teething, so maybe that's it. But I'd still be interested to hear others' experiences especially in relation to starting solids.

Hopeful bump?
