DD is almost two and still breast obsessed! Help1

I want to quit as I am going away for a weekend and I don't want her to be obsessed with boobs.

If I refuse she throws a tantrum. Can you give me some advice on how ton get her off as have tried everything.In the evening after story etc she will scream if she dodn't get boob.

Hi baloo. At 2 I was still the only one who could put ds to bed, but a month later dh tried and it was fine. He gradually weaned himself off breast milk and by 2.4 he had stopped altogether.

Maybe if she knew that you were not available it wouldn't be such a problem?

You might find that you go away, she's fine, and then you come back and she's goes back to normal nursing. I've friends who have gone away like this at this age and the babies seem to be 'out sight of mind'

Or is the weekend a 'weaning weekend'?
