losing weight whilst breastfeeding

When I was pregnant I was told that breastfeeding helps lose the baby weight afterwards (this is not, by the way, the main reason I am breastfeeding!). but after 12 weeks i see no evidence of this despite a healthy diet and recently restarting exercise, in fact i feel as if I wont have any hope of getting my body back until I stop breastfeeding (but of course thisis not a good enough reason for me to stop). anyone had this experience?

thanks KickArseQueen, I didn't know that. Never seen an underwired drop cup - would one exist in a 38J? not too bothered now, my bras are tres comfy.

what I do need is a really good sports bra. I wonder if they make any from steel?!

Anita do underwire nursing bras.

WoTmania, LOL! Yes a very different view point to you, but to be honest most people put on more than you during pregnancy / started off at a greater weight. Biscuits have always been my downfall

MMM Try wearing a swimsuit over the top of a bra or sportsbra to beef it up a bit, It worked for me when I was a double g cup

Worst case scenario theres always gaffer tape (only joking)
