6 week old not hungry?

Hello,
I am EBF my 6 week old DD, but my worry is that she just doesn't seem that hungry.
She feeds basically every three hours during the day. She feeds more regularly in the evening - but the feeds themselves are very unsettled, with her pulling off the breast and crying, and I'm not sure she actually gets much milk at this time. She feeds at 1 o'clock ish and then at 5 ish during the night.
Her nappies are quite wet and she generally as a dirty nappy once a day. So far weight gain has been fine - following 50 percentile.
So should I worry? I constantly hear of babies her age feeding every 1.5 to 2 hours but surely if she is gaining weight all is well?
I am also concerned she is sleeping a lot (she only sleeps on me or my husband or in a sling and obviously gets very comfy!!) and that I am having to wake her after three hours for a feed.
She hasn't fed at all well today and has been sleeping basically since 12 ish (she had a very sleepy feed) but I am putting this down to stress as she had a pavlik harness fitted earlier.
AAHHH - i don't even know what I'm asking! I'm just so stressed about the fact I don't know what she's getting from me (DS was prem, tube fed, then bottles).
Someone slap me and tell me to stop whingeing!

maybe try to feed her in a calm, dark enviroment?
my dd started to be easily distracted at that age and calmness really helped us both.
but if you are concerned call your gp!

Everything sounds absolutely fine and normal IMO. Supply in the evenings is quite often reduced and babies are renown for cluster feeding. As long as the nappies are all wet then I wouldn't worry. As for times between feeds, my LO is on the same schedule as yours by the sounds of things (and was at 6weeks as well).

Enjoy the breaks

I'm just the same as you - always worrying DD isn't getting enough milk (same backstory, but she's older now) - her behaviour is exactly the same as your DD when feeding, she never seems to really go for it. But she's following her curve fine and like your DD, has the requisite amount of wet/pooey nappies etc. Wish she slept as well, though!

I guess what I'm saying is both us should probably stop worrying, but it's natural that we do!

Milk supply in the evenings isn't lower but milk flow can be. The fat content is also higher in the evenings so limiting feeds when a baby wants to cluster feed isn't a good idea.

Kellymom.com has some good information on cluster feeding here and advice on feeding a 2-6 week old and what is 'normal' here.

Try not to worry about baby getting enough though easier said than done. If baby has 6-8 wet nappies a day and poos are soft and unformed (even if she goes all red and grunty whilst doing one) she's getting enough
