Has anyone else experienced this? I have a 3 week old little boy and have been solely breastfeeding. When my milk came in I experienced very loose stools - like diarrhoea. It disappeared for a little while but now I am needing to produce more milk has come back again. Any ideas as to how to stop it other than drinking more water (as I'm doing this already!)
Thanks

Its probably more related to the hormone serges your having as the milk comes in and demand is increased. I always suffer with this around my monthlies and initially when my body was getting used to breast feeding hormones. Also extreme fatigue can effect your bowels too.

I always take iron when I'm feeding so I would have the opposite problem!
