DS (nearly 8months) exclusively bf until introduction of solids. Not a great sleeper, waking constantly at night to feed. Have 2 older dc (none at school) so was knackered! Introduced bottle of formula for the 11pm feed, which worked very well with the other 2 and got them going through until 7am.

Was all going swimmingly - ds was sleeping until about 5.30am, waking to bf and then co-sleeping until the other 2 woke up until 2 nights ago he suddenly started refusing the bottle and SCREAMING. Allowing it in his mouth for a few mons but only to chew the teat and then pushing it away. Of course, is now waking to bf through the night again

Anyone else? any ideas? DH is away a lot for work including a 3-week stint atm so am solo and kind of tired ....

a few mins, I mean.

also, avidity for the breast at night not matched in the day. It's 6.15pm and last bf was at 11.30am ... 2 solid meals and water since then.

No help LTEC, I'm afraid. My 9 month old hasn't had a bedtime feed for aaaages . Just wakes in the night - and has started to not want food either. He has about 4 bottles a day plus 3 meals. I figured my DS was still getting most of his food from the milk - is it worth offering the breast before solids?
