night time bottle feeds - how?

am switching to FF from BF and am not sure how to manage a 1am feed now......do i make the feed up in advance and leave it to cool by the bedside?......do i boil the kettle and leave it and then make the feed at 1am or do i have to start the whole boiling/cooling process when she wakes up....in which case how do you pacify a hungry child while you wait for it to cool.
Please let me know your methods.

Some people split the water. For example if your lo is taking an 8oz feed, you could, before you go to bed put 5oz of cooled boiled water in the bottle, cool it quickly and put in the fridge and when the baby wakes, freshly boil the kettle and add 3 oz of hot water.
You could use a thermos flask.
or, what might be easiest, is if it's just the 1 feed, buy the ready made cartons

ready made formula cartons

I do all the daily bottles once a day and store them in the fridge. For the night one, I take them out of the fridge when I go to bed and leave them in DS room. Like this you just have to pick up your LO and give him the bottle.

I used the ready made cartons for the night feed, so so much easier than faffing around with heating/cooling.

I always used ready made cartons for night feeds and gave them to DS at room temperature (didn't bother warming them up in bottle warmer) and he got used to having them that way - they're a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it in my opinion as it minimised the time spent awake in the night! i boil water for all the bottles i use in he day in advance - if its warm then i just fill the bottles to how miuch i need and leave them out. otherwise i half fill them and leave them to cool, the rest of the boiled water i put in a thermos and add it to the bottle when im preparing the feed
