I know it's been done to death but I'm still confused!

I'm off out next week for the first time since dd was born, she's 28 weeks.

If I express for the dream feed how much can I safely drink that evening before worrying about the six/seven am feed?

I have read so much conflicting advice and will go with whatever you lot advise.

Off out now to baby group so please don't think I'm rude if I don't reply immediately.

Passes out of your milk at the same rate as it passes out of your bloodstream so when you're okay to drive, you're also okay to feed. I reckon a unit per hour on the basis that a little bit of alcohol in the breast milk won't harm DS.

you don't need to worry about it at all, you don't end up with alcoholic milk. Have a good night!

As far as I know, you can drink a normal/safe amount and still BF. By which I mean 1-2 glasses of an evening, or whatever the amount is for you where you know you are still totally safe to be responsible for a child over night. Safety would determine my limit, rather than any danger to the breast milk.
