DD (13 weeks) is EBF but from 6 weeks DH gave her a bottle or two of BM a week just to make sure she was happy with it and so I could have the odd break. she was totally fine but in the last week she has taken massively against it.

we've tried all the obvious tricks, but she won't even start sucking even when we know she's hungry - she just turns her head away and after 10/15 mins starts crying.

now ... I am going back to work part-time pretty soon and we really need to fix this - so please please what would you advise?

is there anything that might work other than me and my boobs leaving the house for the morning? (reluctant to be that tough but will if that's what it takes ... )

thanks v much in advance.

If your DH is willing to deal with the consequences I'd definitely suggest going out. Once your DD realises that the bottle is her only option she's more likely to take it. My DS is 16wks old and will take a bottle of EBM but only when I'm not there.
