Help! Right boob doesn't seem to be refilling!

I have a 3 week old baby who I've been breastfeeding. Generally it's going well but yeasterday I found particularly hard work as he wanted to feed every hour and a half. On the advice of my HV, i have begun offering a second breast as feeds were taking approx an hour each. This worked well but I think I got confused about which side to use at the next feed. Anyway, by the time it reached 8pm yesterday, I was exhausted si I gave him 3oz of formula - whilst in floods of tears!
He fed every 2 to 3 hours through the night for 30 mins using a single breast. When I woke up, my left boob was engorged and noticably larger than the right.I fed off the left first thing whilst expressing off the right - only managed 1 oz. An hour later I expressed from the still enormous left boob and got 5oz! He slept for 3 hrs the I attempted to feed off the right side but it was obviously empty so I reverted to the left and now he's happy. What do I do? Up until now both sides have been equal.

If you keep alternating it will work it self out eg

feed 1 start with right breast then left
feed 2 start with left breast then right
feed 3 etc.

If one breast is painfully engorged express a little for relief

I used a hairband around my wrist to help me keep track, some use bracelets

also an 'empty' breast is never really empty

I had days in early days that one breast would stay quite 'full' whilst the other empty. It will settle down in the next couple of weeks.

If you've only been feeding one side at a time it will take a week or so for your body to completely adjust.
