Will they ever stop?

Have 16 month DTs. Still B/f morning & night & I really feel my work is done & I would like to stop now. My older DD self-weaned not long after her first birthday & went cold turkey without as much as a backward glance. I have been waiting for DT's to so but no sign of stopping yet. DT2 definitely less interested than DT1. What's the best way to drop these last feeds? Or should I just keep going in the hope that they will self-wean soon?

My DS suddenly self weaned, from feeding at least 6 times a day, at 18m. I did slightly encourage him to ease off by offering water first, or a snack but never refusing if you see what I mean? You have done so well

Thanks. I see what you mean. Don't offer but don't refuse sort of thing. At least it's only twice a day though. That must have been a big turnaround from 6 times a day!
