DS4 is 8 weeks old today and EBF. For the last 2 weeks he has reliably slept 6 to 8 hours overnight (do not feel too envious: he sleeps next to nothing during the day and is totally unputdownable ).
I have tried offering a feed in the middle of the night but he does not wake up enough (even after a nappy change) to have a proper go. At best he'll lick the breast a bit and
goes back to sleep.
He was born on the second centile and just about clings to it. Average wt gain from lowest weight has been 5.8 oz/week.
He is on the breast virtually all day every day with constant clusterfeed all evening. I also carry him lot in a stretchy wrap (3 other kids; needs must!).
So, oh wise ones, is this long overnight gap a problem from a supply POV?
